Design. Embraced from the natural wonder of wood and trees, the Chandra Round End Table has been carefully crafted using the very best materials and traditional joinery techniques. Inspired by mechanics and natural elements, Chandra uses solid oak and cast iron rods to create a visually appealing yet practical piece for your home. Each brass cast iron element is used to resemble the shape of steel valves within a motor engine; these are used to space each solid oak board, resulting in an industrial look.

It works particularly well in contemporary or rustic schemes, but its clean lines also allow it to blend seamlessly into eclectic or Scandi styles. Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Sustainability at the Forefront
From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.
Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.
Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.
