Description
Based on Hans Wegner's original drawings, this CH825 Credenza Storage Unit was expertly manufactured by master craftspeople at Carl Hansen & Son and initially was one of three unique credenzas. Deceptively clean-lined with a simple form, the CH825 Credenza features an innovative roller shutter door that appears to disappear as it runs on a track that tucks into the back of the design, gone as if by magic. Crafted from walnut wood treated with a Danish oil to enhance the grain, the interior shelves are crafted from oak, creating an inviting contrast of woods that is a signature feature of pieces by Carl Hansen & Son. The interior of the CH825 Credenza Storage Unit is also customisable, with adjustable shelves and pull-out drawers. The CH825 Credenza Storage Unit in walnut and oak is an excellent example of iconic Danish designer Hans J. Wegner's constant striving towards organic simplicity in his work and his desire to create sculptural beauty, comfort and outstanding stability.
