Wegner has been exclusively produced by Carl Hansen & S?n from Wegner?s original designs, carefully crafted from walnut treated with Danish oil to enhance the unique graining of the wood. Combining a complex structure with soft curves and organic shapes, the CH26 Chair has a solid walnut wood frame and distinctively moulded backshell alongside the signature armrests and envelope-woven paper cord seat. Originally designed in 1950 as part of Wegner?s debut collection, the CH26 Chair was not initially put into production, making this the first time that the CH26 has ever been produced. Recognisable for its fine detailing and superior levels of craftsmanship, Wegner carefully considered the dimensions of the CH26, to make it the perfect height for sitting alongside desks or dining tables.
