Our Stylist Says
I love this mustard yellow velvet drum lampshade with the gold inner for its bold yet versatile colour and luxe texture. It works particularly well in both modern and eclectic interiors, adding warmth and a pop of colour to neutral schemes or complementing richer, layered palettes. The velvet finish brings a tactile softness that elevates the overall look, while the gold lining ensures a warm, inviting glow when lit. For styling tips, pair it with matte or textured fabrics in cushions and throws to create a sophisticated yet cosy vibe. It's ideal for statement lighting in living rooms or bedrooms, where it can serve as a focal point without overwhelming the space. Keep the surrounding accessories simple to let this piece truly shine.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
