Entirely made by hand in Italy, the glazed ceramic lamps combine modern elegance with traditional expertise. Ronan Bouroullec: "I really like ceramics — the flames licking the ground, and the glaze that flows over and around the form. Ceramics speak the language of desire and sensuality. I think that my work is increasingly heading in this direction: Producing functional pieces, of course, but also search for a form of elegance and pleasure." The "Céramique" collection is composed of three lamp models, each with a slightly different form. These three lamps are both unique and complementary in terms of their form and function. Each of the three models shares the same base and the same foot, but the position of the lampshade varies from model to model, allowing for different types of lighting. This lighting trilogy is described as "three members of a happy family, all protagonists in a single tale". Each set-up offers a different light flow to meet different needs. The "Down" version directs the light downwards, which makes it the perfect reading lamp or desk lamp. The "Side" version projects the light perpendicularly to the side: Its architectural lighting is perfect for illuminating walls or corners. Lastly, the "Up" version offers lighting projected upwards, creating indirect ambiance lighting for a comfortable and soft atmosphere. The collection comes in three sophisticated colourways: Moss Green, Navy Blue, and Rust Red. This range of colours offers countless possibilities for integrating the piece into various settings and interior styles. The crystallised lacquer applied over the body of the lamp is lead-free, making it safe for the environment and human health. The LED used can easily be replaced. This allows for constant improvement in the product's energy efficiency, so that new lighting technologies and solutions can be introduced onto the market. This guarantees a longer life span. Inside the packaging, the internal protective elements are made with recyclable straw filling material, reducing waste and the environmental impact.
