Description

Give your home a modern spin on industrial pendant bars with the Cedar Smoke Glass & Opal 3 Light Pendant Bar. The smoked shades that cover the opal glass gives this pendant bar a unique appearance, making it stand out among the rest. The pewter finish on this light leaves it with a lovely sheer finish, that looks amazing.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this pendant bar with smoke shades for its versatile and modern appeal. Its sleek black chrome finish makes it a great addition to contemporary or minimalist interiors, while the smoke glass shades add a subtle warmth, preventing it from feeling too industrial. It's ideal for over kitchen islands, dining tables, or even in a living space where you want to create a stylish but understated statement. As a styling tip, hang it at varying heights for an eclectic look or keep it uniform for a cleaner, more streamlined aesthetic. Pairing with other black or metallic elements can really help to unify the space, making this pendant fitting for a range of interior styles from modern to transitional.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
