Description

Originally, this collection was intended to be a set of photo frames but Jamie Graham had a new vision in mind for the Cavendish range. Transformed into mirrors which are exclusively designed for G&G, each has a distressed whitewashed finish and an antique, bobbin-style mango wood frame inspired by the late 19th century arts and crafts movement. Small: H60 x W50 x D4cm. Medium: H80 x W65 x D4cm. Large: H105 x W85 x D4cm. Distressed whitewashed solid mango wood frame. Bobbin-style details along the frame inspired by the 19th century arts and crafts movement. Chunky 4cm-thick straight-edged frame. Hang portrait or landscape with its dual cleat fixing. Dust the frame when needed. Use standard glass cleaner for the mirror.

Our Stylist Says

The Cavendish large wall mirror is a versatile piece that adds a sense of light and space to a wide range of interiors. I love how its classic beaded frame detail brings subtle elegance without feeling overly ornate, making it suitable for both traditional and contemporary settings. It works particularly well in entryways, living rooms, or bedrooms where it can maximise natural light and create an open feel. For styling tips, consider placing it opposite a window to bounce light around the room, or group it with smaller wall art or decorative objects for a curated look. Its sizeable frame also makes it a focal point on its own, meaning you don’t need much else competing for attention around it.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
