I’m a fan of the Cavat table for its clean lines and the way the slim brass frame lifts the black glass shelves off the floor, creating a light yet striking centrepiece. It works equally well in a modern city apartment or a more pared-back, mid-century scheme, especially when you want to introduce a hint of Art Deco glamour without overwhelming the room.
For styling, keep the top surface uncluttered: a low-profile lamp, a stack of coffee-table books and a simple ceramic bowl do the job. On the lower shelf, layer in a woven tray or two to corral remotes or coasters, and leave a bit of negative space so the brass detailing can shine through.
