I’m a fan of the Westin console for its slim walnut top perched on that angular powder-coated steel base - it feels both substantial and light. It works particularly well in contemporary or industrial-leaning schemes, but its clean lines also complement mid-century or Scandi interiors.
To style it, start with a large round mirror or pared-back gallery wall above, then layer a mix of heights: perhaps a low ceramic planter at one end, a slim table lamp in the centre and a stack of coffee-table books with a small sculpture at the other. Keep the colour palette simple - black, white and natural wood - and leave some negative space so the base’s geometry can shine.
