I’m a fan of this charcoal ottoman storage bed for its clean lines and deep button-tufted headboard, which add subtle texture without overwhelming the room. The lift-up base offers generous under-bed storage, making it a practical choice for smaller spaces or anyone who needs to keep extra bedding and seasonal items tucked away.
It sits equally well in a modern Scandi scheme - with light timber floors and crisp white linens - as it does in a more sophisticated, moody palette with velvet cushions and metallic bedside lamps. To style it, layer neutral bedding with a pop of muted colour (for example, a dusky rose throw) and keep bedside surfaces uncluttered to let the bed’s charcoal hue remain the focal point.
