I’m a fan of this white-top, limed-oak leg dining table for its unfussy, Scandi-inspired lines and ability to sit comfortably in both contemporary and coastal schemes. Its light finish keeps a room feeling open, while the slim, tapered legs add just enough warmth without overwhelming smaller spaces. For styling, pair it with mix-and-match chairs in neutral rattan or upholstered linen, layer in a simple runner and a couple of textured ceramics, and hang a pared-back pendant above to frame the setting. The result is a versatile, lived-in look that’s equally at home in a city apartment or a countryside kitchen.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
