Description

The 4 sizable drawers and twin stacked central shelves are housed within the chunky outer frame, making the Cartmel TV unit practical & stylish, suitable for all associated media. Cable management is arranged through two back panel cut outs in the central shelving unit. Suitable for most 55inch TVs without overlap although larger TVs can be supported if the screen overlap is acceptable. Also available in the Cartmel Range is a Sideboard, Lamp Table and Coffee Table.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this knotty oak TV unit because its solid grain and subtle finish bring warmth without feeling too heavy. It sits neatly in Scandi, contemporary farmhouse or pared-back industrial schemes, pairing equally well with neutral walls, matt-black accents or soft leather furniture. For styling, keep the top surface uncluttered - think a low-profile soundbar or a single sculptural vase. Use the open middle shelf for neatly stacked DVDs or console boxes, and tuck away remotes in woven baskets behind the slatted doors. Add a trailing plant at one end to soften the lines and introduce a touch of greenery.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
