Description

This cluster pendant light is a fantastic choice for any industrial style décor; the combination of metal, glass, and cable gives a raw and authentic look that looks perfect when used in an industrial setting! The 5 light pendant utilises a robust bulb holder, finished in a bronze effect, with each light surrounded by a glass shade. Each of these shades have their own unique shape and finish to give eclectic style to any décor. The Carter industrial ceiling cluster pendant is finished with a bronze ceiling plate and black cables, which maintains a modern and urban tone for this fitting as it lights up your home!.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pendant for its industrial yet refined aesthetic - the bronze finish and multi-globe design create a striking focal point. It works particularly well in open-plan spaces, kitchens, or dining areas where a touch of modern industrial style is desired. For styling tips, hang it at varying heights over a kitchen island or dining table to add visual interest and encourage a layered look. Keep the surrounding decor minimal to let the pendant stand out, and pair it with matte black or bronze accents for a cohesive industrial vibe. This piece offers both functionality and a contemporary edge, making it versatile for a range of interiors looking to incorporate vintage-inspired industrial charm.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
