The designer begins by creating her shapes out of folded and cut cardboard, then Serax transposes them into China without erasing their irregularities. Folds, facets, and edges remain visible, like traces of the creative process. Available in three sizes—Small (Ø 5.8 × H 8.5 cm), Medium (Ø 6.3 × H 12 cm), and Large (Ø 4.8 × H 13.8 cm)—these mini vases stand out for their complementary silhouettes. The largest is also the narrowest, giving it a particularly slender appearance. A three-dimensional designThe black outlines, hand-painted and deliberately irregular, follow the various facets of China. They reinforce the impression of an object drawn freehand, as if a sketch had suddenly taken on three dimensions.
