Description

Industrial lighting for your home décor, the Carrie Ceiling rose for E27 lamps is guaranteed to add a modern style to your interior. This flush fitting features an antique copper finish that offers a robust appearance and has a minimalist design that is ideal for low ceilings. It also looks additionally decorative when paired with a vintage filament light bulb (not included) to elevate the industrial element to this light.

Our Stylist Says

I love this ceiling rose for its vintage-inspired appeal and the warm, antique copper finish which adds a touch of industrial chic. It works particularly well in interiors that embrace rustic, vintage, or eclectic styles, but can also bring a charming, nostalgic vibe to more contemporary spaces when paired thoughtfully. Practical styling tips include using it with exposed filament Edison bulbs for an authentic look or combining it with other copper accents to create a cohesive scheme. It's versatile enough to sit comfortably in a living room, hallway, or bedroom, providing a subtle yet stylish focal point overhead.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
