Description
Rooted in the beauty of Highgrove Gardens, this timeless collection brings hand-painted Sanderson artwork directly from the studio to your home. Inspired by historic archives, these pieces celebrate exceptional British design and enduring craftsmanship. Crafted in the UK from soft recycled polyester, these machine washable runners combine Highgrove by Sanderson’s archival designs and Hug Rug’s exceptional British manufacturing, bringing luxury to everyday living. Designed for busy homes, they're soft underfoot, easy to care for and perfect for adding lasting colour and character to living rooms, kitchens and hallways. The Carpet Garden is a luscious walled garden design inspired by an original sketch by King Charles III and based on a Turkish carpet at Highgrove. The sketch’s geometric shapes and colours translate into a vibrant living garden at Highgrove, which received the Silver Gilt Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Depicting Moroccan tiles, lime-washed pots, abundant florals amongst citrus and olive trees and Italian cypress, the mural is a realistic interpretation of this wondrous garden. Mature cork oak trees, Indian chairs, and Moorish lanterns scattered throughout also feature. Machine washable at 30ºC Made in Britain from recycled materials One piece solution that's easy to assemble and wash Non-slip, natural rubber backing Matching washable runner available Our Hug Rug Eco-Washable rugs are handcrafted with a soft recycled polyester surface and a natural rubber backing that keeps them securely in place. Designed as a one piece design, once rolled out they're ready to enjoy straight away. When it's time for a refresh, simply roll up, toss in the wash and lay back down. Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms or any space that needs an elegant, welcoming touch, these rugs blend comfort, style and everyday practicality.
Our Stylist Says
I love this eco-washable rug for its versatile, botanical-inspired design, which works especially well in transitional or eclectic interiors. It adds a touch of colour and pattern without overpowering the space, making it a great choice for living rooms or bedrooms where comfort and practicality are key. It’s ideal for busy households, as its washable feature ensures easy maintenance, making it perfect for high-traffic areas or homes with children and pets. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral or earthy tones and layered textures to create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Layer the rug under a simple sofa or bed to anchor the space, and add pops of colour or accessories that complement its greenery and soft hues.
