I’m a fan of Carmo for its clean lines and mixed-material detail - the dark-wood top balanced on polished chrome gives it a smart, contemporary edge. It’s at home in modern or minimalist schemes, but the chrome base also lifts industrial loft spaces or adds contrast to a softer, Scandi setting.
Styling-wise, keep the surface uncluttered: a low-profile lamp and a slim tray for keys or mail alongside a sculptural vase work well. Hang a simple round mirror above to bounce light, and tuck woven baskets or slim storage boxes underneath to keep the console practical without spoiling its streamlined look.
