Description
Delicacy, grace and lightness perfectly sum up this XXL pendant in pleated fabric. This large flat disc adds new volumes and proportions with great elegance. Born out of experiments with textiles and designed like a dancer’s tutu, Carmen’s pleating and sheer size make its graphics truly captivating. The lines of its skirt are repeated, punctuating the space it occupies. When Carmen takes centre stage, with its stunning central light disc, it certainly won’t go unnoticed. The LED strip sits inside the central disc. Carmen offers a wonderful interplay of shadows and light thanks to the different thicknesses of the fabric in the folds. The effect is wonderful: vivid, vibrant, soft and warm, the light seems to come alive with movement. The creative approach of Pauline Capdo and Luis Bellener is intuitive and inspired by everyday life. They pay particular attention to the treatment of light which is their favourite theme, making their creations unique and truly singular.
