Price History

Description

A dazzling centrepiece, the contemporary Carmella 12 Light Diner Pendant Bar features a beautiful display of 12 hanging pendants finished in a gorgeous antique copper and champagne hue. The warm light within diffuses through the glass shades and fills the space with a soft ambience – ideal for creating a statement look among your décors. This stylish addition would create a glamorous statement among any dining area, living room or staircase.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pendant bar for its modern minimalist appeal combined with the warm tone of the copper finish, which makes it versatile for a variety of interiors. It works especially well in contemporary or industrial-style spaces, such as kitchens over dining islands or in living areas where you want to create a statement. Practical styling tips include hanging the lights at varying lengths to add visual interest or grouping it with other copper accents to create a cohesive look. Additionally, pairing it with filament bulbs will enhance its warm glow, making it perfect for both daytime sophistication and cosy evenings.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
