Description

Cluster pendant lights are perhaps the boldest, most eye-catching light fittings available to bring into your home, giving a great light and statement style to any space that they’re featured within. The Carmella 10 light cluster is a fantastic example of how simple design can sometimes be the perfect way to decorate a space, with the elegant double glass shades and modern copper finish combining to give a sophisticated look to your living room, dining room, or staircase.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Carmella 10 Light Cluster for its striking copper finish and contemporary design, making it a real focal point in any room. It works particularly well in modern or industrial interiors, adding warmth and a touch of luxe to spaces like dining rooms or living areas. When styling, consider pairing it with warm-toned or neutral colour palettes to enhance its metallic sheen. Practical tips include hanging it at a height where the bulbs are clear of head height, creating a balanced silhouette without overwhelming the space. It’s versatile enough to suit high-ceilinged rooms or more contained spaces when paired with simple, understated furniture. Overall, this light makes a bold statement without being too overpowering, making it a smart choice for adding character to your interior.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
