I’m a fan of the Carlton mirrored wardrobe for its clean lines and space-boosting finish. The grey frame and full-length mirrors work brilliantly in smaller bedrooms or guest rooms, reflecting light to make the room feel larger and brighter while providing generous hanging and shelving inside.
For styling, team it with soft neutrals - think pale linens, a light wood bedside table and a simple rug underfoot - to keep the look calm and contemporary. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
