I’m a fan of the Embrace coffee table for its slender, wire-frame base and warm oiled-oak top - it brings a light, unfussy feel to a room without sacrificing presence. It works equally well in Scandi-inspired and contemporary schemes, or even to soften a more industrial loft space. Keep styling simple: group a small stack of design books with a low ceramic vase or sculptural object in odd numbers, and layer it over a natural-fibre rug to balance the table’s metal base.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
