Our Stylist Says
I love the Carisbrooke pendant in black for its versatile, understated style that can elevate a variety of interiors. Its sleek, minimalist design makes it a great fit for modern and industrial spaces, but it also works well in classic or eclectic settings when paired with softer textures or statement accessories. Practical styling tips include hanging it above a dining table or in an entryway for a focal point, ensuring the diameter is proportionate to the space. Pair it with warm filament bulbs for a cosy glow or industrial-inspired finishes to enhance its contemporary vibe. Its black finish provides a bold contrast, making it a stylish anchor in neutral-coloured rooms.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
