This outdoor light offers a clever mix of retro charm and contemporary refinement combined with great practicality. Its clean and graphical outline will imbue your terraces and balconies with modernity and elegance. The Captain Flint floor lamp offers a wonderful mix of noble materials. It combines the solid and sensual look of a stone base with the finesse of a steel body with geometric lines. Michael Anastassiades, the designer of Captain Flint, wanted to design a floor lamp fulfilling two distinct functions: on the one hand, an indirect mood light (directed upwards), and on the other, a direct and practical light (directed downwards). He therefore developed a lampshade which is balanced on a fine rotating rod. A single action is all that's needed to rotate the rod and turn the lampshade from a downwards to an upwards direction. As such, Captain Flint goes from an elegant floor lamp to a real reading companion!.
