Balancing elements of vintage design with modern contemporary style, the frame is finished in a oak effect veneer, which gives it a smooth finish, so you can have the best of both worlds, style and substance. The three cupboard doors have a silent soft close mechanism that prevents any slamming and is safer for children. Open them using the sleek black handles to reveal the open internal space for small and large household items. Make a real focal point of your sideboard by adding plants and decorative accents to the top surface. Raised on hairpin legs made from black powder-coated steel, they are both strong and stylish. A new take on the traditional solid, straight furniture leg, this industrial design is a growing trend in urban furnishing. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
