The aluminium frames are completely weatherproof. No need to cover. Polywood is made from recycled plastics, shaped into planks and boards. It looks like painted wood, but contains no actual wood or wood byproducts. It’s fade-resistant and UV proof. IMPORTANT: Never place hot items, such as cooking dishes or candles, on polywood surfaces. Remember, it's plastic. Fire and heat will melt it. Scatter cushions not included. The cushion covers are Textelene, a synthetic material which is colourfast, stain and water-resistant and strong. Hand wash at up to 30 °C. Innovative foam cushion fillings are micro-porous, allowing water to drain away with no water retention. This garden furniture can be left outside all year round, excluding the cushions which should be stored in winter. Clean all aluminium furniture with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths or chemical cleaners. Clean polywood table top and arms with a power washer or a soft bristle brush. If your furniture is exposed to salty coastal winds we advise regular wiping down, and covering the furniture in winter and in stormy weather.
