This 6 plus 2 drawer chest offers a very practical combination of drawer sizes in a large chest allowing you plenty of space to store all your requirements tidily and in an organised way, whilst also giving you space to have a TV or to display your favourite photos on top.

I’m a big fan of this eight-drawer chest for its blend of clean, classic lines and practical storage - the white frame with oak top slots neatly into Scandi, coastal or modern farmhouse schemes. It works equally well as a hallway console or bedroom dresser, and the top surface is perfect for a pair of lamps, a simple tray for keys or a framed print to keep things balanced.
Styling tip: group items in odd numbers and vary heights to avoid a flat display - think a low ceramic vase alongside a taller mirror propped up at the back. You can also soften the look with a woven runner or place shallow baskets in some drawers to organise scarves, hats or office bits without opening every drawer.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
