Description

Designed by Danish duo Foersom Hiort-Lorenzen MDD, the Cane-Line Curve Chair is unique in style and design. Its curvaceous composition brings elegance to its traditionally rustic roots and would look fantastic in a garden, living room conservatory. The Natural veneer is fair and has earthy character, or if youre interested in a deeper tone with a modern kick, take a look at our Cane-Line Curve Chair in Lava Grey.

Our Stylist Says

I love the cane line curve lounge chair for its relaxed yet stylish aesthetic-it’s a practical choice that instantly elevates outdoor spaces. Its neutral tone makes it incredibly versatile, pairing well with both contemporary and coastal themes, while the rattan-inspired design adds a touch of natural elegance. For styling tips, consider placing it on a light-coloured outdoor rug with soft cushions in earthy or muted shades to create a comfortable, inviting corner. It also works well mixed with other outdoor furniture in different textures, like woven poufs or wooden tables, for a layered look. Its low-maintenance materials mean it’s as functional as it is attractive, making it an excellent investment for both casual and more polished outdoor settings.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
