Description

When industrial style meets Art Deco design: the Camille shelf has a steel structure, punctuated by straight lines and semi-arched styles. Graphic and functional.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Camille shelving - its slim steel frame and subtle arches give it an architectural edge without overwhelming a space. It works especially well in modern, industrial or minimalist interiors, where clean lines and a monochrome palette allow its form to stand out. Styling tips: mix books with decorative objects and small plants to break up the horizontals. Use baskets or boxes on the bottom shelf for hidden storage and leave a little breathing room between items to keep the look light. In a hallway it doubles as a catch-all for keys and mail, while in a living room it’s perfect for art books and ceramics.

About La Redoute

Founded in 1837, La Redoute brings French-inspired style and elegance to your home. From trendy pieces to enduring essentials, La Redoute provides options to create a stylish and inviting space.

A Legacy of French Fashion

La Redoute has been around for 180 years. It started as a place that made wool products and grew into a popular online store for home and fashion items from France.

They've always tried to bring the unique French style to everyone and have changed with the times, especially in understanding the changing roles of women. For them, it's not just about selling products; it's about celebrating the art of everyday living and the quintessential French "je ne sais quoi".

Sustainability and Environmental Consciousness

La Redoute's commitment to the environment and sustainability is unwavering. They have taken commendable steps like joining the Better Cotton Initiative and ensuring their paper stock comes from sustainably-managed forests.

As a proud member of the Fur Free Retailer Program, they stand against the use of real fur and certain other materials, showcasing their concern for animal well-being.

Their transportation choices, too, echo their eco-conscious ethos. By using means like barges and trains, they actively reduce CO2 emissions, highlighting their drive to make choices beneficial for the planet.

Championing Social Responsibility

Beyond its fashion-forward vision, La Redoute actively champions societal values. Their signature on the UN's Global Compact underscores their commitment to sustainable development.

They take pride in being accessible to all, with their website catering to both the hearing and visually impaired. Moreover, La Redoute's dedication to social causes is evident in their support for equal opportunities, their stand against violence towards women through partnerships like Solfa, and their endeavours to empower employees, fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship.
