Description

We love the idea of really focusing on furnishing the hallway so that you can feel at home from the moment you step across the threshold. With the Cambridge Oak Telephone Table taking pride of place at one end of the hallway, you’ll have a unique combination of country style aesthetics and handy functionality that doesn’t ask you to sacrifice floor space. Not only that but if you don’t want to use it as a Hall Table there’s always the option to add the signature rounded corners and antique effect handles to your favourite little corner of the lounge.

Our Stylist Says

The Cambridge Telephone Table in rustic oak is a versatile piece that brings a warm, natural touch to any room. I love how its simple, sturdy design works well in both traditional and contemporary interiors, especially in cosy living rooms or hallway spaces. It’s perfect for adding extra storage with its small drawer, ideal for everyday essentials like keys or mail. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a vintage lamp or a small potted plant to highlight its rustic charm, and placing it next to a comfortable armchair or sofa for functional convenience. It's a great choice for those wanting a subtle yet charming statement piece that blends form and function seamlessly.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
