Description

Taking the time to find centrepieces for every room in the house is what really makes it feel like home, so why not turn your attention to the study? By making a feature wall based around the Cambridge Painted Large Bookcase you can create a relaxing space that allows you to keep your focus and get down to work in style. Add trinkets, books and pictures to your new Shelves to create an eclectic mix and you’ll be able to really bring out the country cottage style contrast of the light oak and dove grey.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bookcase for its rustic oak finish, which adds warmth and a natural touch to any space. It works particularly well in both traditional and contemporary interiors that embrace natural materials and a relaxed aesthetic. Practical styling tips include layering books with decorative objects like ceramics or candles to create visual interest. It’s also perfect for showcasing personal treasures or plants on the shelves to give it a lived-in, inviting feel. Due to its tall and slim profile, it fits nicely into narrow spaces, making it versatile for both living rooms and bedrooms. Keep styling simple with neutral tones or add colour through accessories to prevent it from looking overwhelming.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
