Description

Modern Industrial lighting for the exterior of your house, the Camb Outdoor Caged Wall Light provides a stunning urban appearance to your porch or entryway. This light features a sleek black finish and a cage design for a robust appearance that is sure to add a decorative touch the outside of your home. Pair this light with a vintage filament style light bulb for a warm and welcome glow across your outdoor spaces.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its industrial, utilitarian appeal which adds a touch of urban chic to outdoor spaces. Perfect for modern, contemporary, or even rustic exteriors, it works especially well against brick or stone walls. When styling, consider pairing it with minimalist outdoor furniture or potted greenery to create a cohesive look. Practical tips include positioning it at a comfortable height near entrances or along pathways for both style and function, and mixing metal finishes with natural textures to soften the overall aesthetic. Its black cage adds durability while maintaining a sleek, understated vibe that easily blends into various outdoor themes.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
