Inspired by the rustic interiors of Soho Farmhouse, our Calne coffee table features visible knots and cracks throughout, which are considered charming features of natural timber. A live edge adds to this organic piece.

I’m a fan of this light oak coffee table for its clean lines and honest, unvarnished grain - it sits equally well in a Scandi-inspired living room or a laid-back Japandi scheme. The low, bench-like profile makes it a practical anchor in front of a sofa, while its generous 180 cm length is great for hosting drinks and nibbles when friends drop by.
Styling-wise, keep clutter to a minimum: a neat stack of art books, a simple ceramic vase and a shallow wooden tray are all you need. Place it on a low-pile, neutral rug to emphasise the table’s silhouette, and tie in other pale woods or matte black metal accents elsewhere in the room to create a cohesive, contemporary look.
