The hand-tufting technique gives the Caldera Rug a soft, plush feel. For absolute comfort. Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Product Details • 50% lyocell, 44% wool, 6% viscose • Craftsmanship:Hand woven • Weight: 4500-4600g/m² • Pile height: 10 to 11mm. Quality Info • Lyocell is also called artificial silk. This smooth, shiny, very soft fibre has subtle variations in tone depending on the light and the direction of the hair.. A remarkable material, as practical as it is aesthetic. • Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. In addition to being resistant to wear and durable over time, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is normal, because the carpet "bursts" by rejecting its excess fibres. Remove lint as much as possible by hand and definitely do not use the vacuum cleaner in brushing mode because this has the effect of pulling the fibres and tearing them out.. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little for the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much, always without using the brush.. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended.
