Beautifully reproduced from Jane's intricate Biro drawing ‘Butterfly Lover Zhu Yintai'. This is the third design of her ‘South China Tiger' triptych. Part of her iconic print and china collection ‘In Homage to the Last Great Carnivores of Eurasia', this body of work highlights threatened carnivores across the Eurasian continent. ‘Butterfly Lover Zhu Yintai' portrays the second part of 'The Legend of the Last South China Tiger', a tale written by her to symbolise the plight of the South China tiger, thought to be extinct in the wild. Jane's meticulous drawings take several months to research and make. Sumptuous signed and numbered limited edition archival pigment print, made by one of the very best printmakers in the industry. Original Biro drawing by Jane Lee Mc. Cracken. Edition: 50. Paper:Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm. Permanent for greater than 250 years under normal glass. 275 years displayed behind UV glass before noticeable fading and/or changes in colour balance occur. Print is signed and numbered by Jane. Print is sold unframed.

Our Stylist Says

I love this butterfly art for its vibrant colours and striking detail, making it a real statement piece. It works beautifully in contemporary or eclectic interiors where bold accent pieces are appreciated, and it can also add a touch of whimsy to more minimal schemes. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral backgrounds to really let the colours pop, or incorporate matching subtle hues in cushions or accessories nearby to create a cohesive look. It’s versatile enough to hang in living rooms, bedrooms, or even hallways, where it can bring a lively focal point and a sense of personality to the space.
