Description

Designed with both style and functionality, this weighted bear is sturdy enough to hold open heavy doors while remaining soft enough to prevent scuffs or damage to your flooring. With its timeless heritage aesthetic and adorable silhouette, it’s the perfect decorative accent for a country cottage, a cozy study, or a traditional living space.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Bute Large Green Check Tartan Bear door stop for adding a cosy, cottage-style touch to any room. Its classic tartan pattern and soft plush design make it a charming yet functional accessory, perfect for traditional or country-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in spaces with gingham, wood accents, or neutral tones where it can stand out as a playful accent. Practical styling tips include pairing it with rustic furniture, placing it near a fire surround for a homely feel, or using it as a quirky prop on a bookshelf or sideboard. Its charming aesthetic helps combine practicality with visual interest, making it an inviting addition to both quaint and eclectic interiors.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
