Description

The Cotswold Bookcase offers a refined solution to a versatile mix of open and hidden storage. Comprised of a combination of nook shelves, drawers and basket space, it’s stylish silver handles give a luxurious look while the basket storage gives an instant cottage feel. Details like the contrasting chamfered edge top and Oak finish give this classy piece of furniture an original style.

Our Stylist Says

The Burton Bookcase in grey is a versatile piece that combines simplicity with practicality, making it a great addition to various interiors. I love its neutral hue, which allows it to blend seamlessly in both contemporary and traditional spaces, from cosy living rooms to home offices. Its open shelves provide ample space for displaying books, plants, or decorative objects, while the drawers and baskets add functional storage for smaller items, keeping clutter at bay. For styling tips, try layering books with decorative accents or adding a few colourful artefacts to breathe personality into the piece. It works particularly well against light-coloured walls, where its soft tone can be highlighted, but it also complements darker shades beautifully for a more dramatic effect.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
