Burray LED Round Surface Brick Wall Light, Anthracite

Our Stylist Says

The Burray LED round wall light is a sleek, contemporary piece that offers practical illumination with a modern edge. I love its clean, compact design and how it manages to blend seamlessly with various exterior styles, especially in urban or minimalist gardens. It works particularly well with brick or rendered walls, adding a subtle yet stylish glow. For interior styling, it’s great to incorporate around outdoor dining areas or along pathways for both safety and ambiance. Practical tips include pairing it with other discrete lighting sources for layered illumination, and using it on dimmer settings for a more adaptable mood. Its anthracite finish also makes it versatile enough to complement darker or monochromatic outdoor schemes, giving your space a contemporary, cohesive look.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
