I’ve been using this burnt-orange stool to inject warmth and personality into both contemporary and Scandi-inspired spaces. The clean, curved lines and matte black base strike a balance between modern and cosy, making it ideal for kitchen islands or breakfast bars in open-plan homes.
Styling tip: pair two or three with a natural timber or dark stone countertop, then echo the tone with brass pendant lights or woven rattan accents. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
