Danish designer Benny Frandsen created the iconic Ball lamp in 1969. For Bolia, he has come up with a collection of metal lighting with a retro, refined look, inspired by Scandinavian design of the 1960s. Highly mobile, this floor lamp lets you direct the light with precision thanks to the long tilting, rotating arm and adjustable lampshade. The golden brass details give this lamp a sophisticated feel. Worthy of the greatest design icons, the Bureau floor lamp displays a timeless style, both classic and chic. Benny Frandsen: “I’ve been designing lamps for many years. I've always done this for people who value taste over price. It might sound like my designer items are outrageously expensive, but they aren't. However, I’ve always relished the challenge of the process of “representing the finished lamp on paper”. It’s always been very important to me that this process takes place without any compromise. Otherwise, the design becomes less exciting than the original idea. ”.
