Description

The Bumble white and oak 2 door wardrobe juxtaposes warm toned, beautifully grained wood and a crisp white carcass in a streamlined design. The wardrobe has a single hanging rail and 2 drawers, its doors and drawers have a feature cut-out detail for handles and the design sits on solid wood feet. Designed in house and exclusive to Habitat, the Bumble range includes white and oak bedroom furniture and occasional tables in a choice of colours.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wardrobe for its clean, contemporary look that balances the crisp white with warm oak accents, making it versatile for various interior styles. It works particularly well in modern, Scandinavian, or minimalistic bedrooms, thanks to its neutral tones and simple lines. Practical styling tips include pairing it with textured bedding or colourful accessories to add personality, or keeping the surrounding decor muted to let the wardrobe be a standout piece. Its smart storage and understated design make it both functional and visually appealing, perfect for creating a clutter-free space while adding a touch of natural warmth.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
