Description

Bring a little spirituality into your home with the stunningly detailed Buddha Table Lamp. The golden gilt Buddha Head beautifully contrasts the natural lampshade, making every detail stand out. When switched on, this table lamp projects a stunning bright light that will illuminate any room. This light is a perfect example of how a traditional zen design can be used in a contemporary interior space to produce state of the art home furnishing.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Buddha figure as the base for this lamp-it adds a serene, contemplative touch to a space, making it ideal for creating a calming atmosphere in living rooms or bedrooms. The gold finish brings warmth and a touch of luxury, so it works well in eclectic, boho, or even modern interiors when paired with neutral or earthy tones. For styling tips, consider placing it on a side table or bookshelf alongside textured accessories or greenery to enhance its presence. To ensure it remains a focal point, keep surrounding décor minimal and let the lamp be a statement piece that brings both light and visual interest.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
