Brixton Rec London Art Print, Brutalist London On the overground passing through Brixton you just cannot miss it! The logo, the icon, the bold font. Seems so stark, imposing or dystopian for a recreation centre, but just works. Designed by George Finch, this is the second building after the Lambeth Towers I had been keen to illustrate for a while. I'm hardly the sporty kind. A few badminton sessions back in a the day, and now I'm a frequent visitor again for toddler soft play. That's the beauty- there is always something for everyone.
The Brixton Rec London Art Print is a fantastic choice for adding a touch of colour and urban vibe to modern interiors. I love how it captures the retro-futuristic feel of London’s iconic architecture and transport, making it a great statement piece for living rooms or home offices. It works especially well in contemporary, industrial, or minimalist schemes where its bold colours can pop against neutral backgrounds. For styling, consider framing it with a sleek white or black border to keep the focus on the print, or go for a coloured frame that complements one of the hues within the artwork for added impact. This piece is practical for injecting a sense of city life into your space without overwhelming the room, making it a versatile addition for those who love a bit of urban charm.
