Chayote from Costa Rica, chow chow from India. Columbian cassava and Kenyan okra. Senegalese sweet corn, Spanish lemons and limes from Chile. Plantain from Ecuador and bananas from Panama. And a dozen cheeky foxes from London. Brixton Market, splashed in colours of flags of the countries above. I miss Brixton. I don't live here anymore, but close enough to make a monthly visit to the village and market. Like I read somewhere 'A bit like Hackney but with fewer hippies'
I love the Brixton Market London print for its vibrant, nostalgic charm and bold colour palette, making it a lively focal point in any space. It works particularly well in casual or eclectic interiors, such as kitchen dashes, living rooms with a pop of colour, or a characterful studio. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with minimalistic framing to keep the focus on the artwork, and hang it at eye level for impact. You could also combine it with other retro or urban-inspired pieces for a cohesive look, or use it as a statement piece above a neutral sofa or desk to inject some London-inspired personality.
