I’m a fan of this soft green sideboard - the muted sage paint with an oak top adds just enough colour without overwhelming a room. It works well in both Scandi-inspired and modern farmhouse interiors, as well as in a pared-back coastal scheme.
For styling, keep the top clutter-free: a low vase, a stack of coffee-table books and a slim tray for keys or decorative objects. Hang a mirror or simple art above to draw the eye up, and use the generous cupboards and drawers to hide dining linens, glassware or everyday chargers.
