I’m a big fan of the Bridstow sideboard thanks to its solid oak top and muted cream finish, which bring warmth without overwhelming a room. Its clean lines and classic hardware suit both modern country and Scandinavian-inspired schemes, while the generous drawers and cupboards make it genuinely practical for hiding clutter.
To style it, keep the top relatively clear: a pair of simple table lamps either side and a low vase of fresh greenery work well. Below, baskets or fabric boxes inside the cupboards maintain a tidy look. In a dining room it can double as a drinks station; in a hallway it’s perfect for corralling shoes and scarves, topped with a shallow tray for keys and post.
