Reflecting on the Shaker tradition of honest construction, the Brethren Stool features exposed joinery with visible end grain construction detail that is sure to award a space with both classic form and a contemporary aesthetic. With studios in Singapore and New York, Gabriel Tan works across the borders of craft, culture and technology. Striving to subvert archetypes and reinterpret luxury pieces, the Brethren Stool and Bench were created in collaboration with The Conran Shop and beautifully demonstrate Tan's aptitude for functional, creative design.
