Brer Rabbit also known as Brother Rabbit was inspired by a 17th century Italian silk first registered for fabric production in 1882 and named after the Uncle Remus childrens books popular at the time. The wallpaper has been reproduced from the original fabric and comes in a range of colours to co-ordinate with a new range of textiles. Shown here in a church red colourway. Use the Brer Rabbit wallpaper for a feature wall in a bedroom and hallway or perhaps to cover an entire living room or dining room. This wallpaper is part of the Morris Volume IV wallpapers collection. Application Method: paste the wall and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match:Straight. Vertical repeat: 40.6cm.
I love the bold yet classic appeal of Brer Rabbit wallpaper, especially in the Indigo Vellum colourway. It works beautifully in spaces where you want to make a statement without overwhelming the room - think feature walls in living rooms or dens, or in a study for a sophisticated backdrop. The intricate, nature-inspired pattern lends itself well to a traditional or eclectic decor scheme, but can also add depth to modern interiors when paired with sleek, neutral furnishings. Practical styling tips include balancing its detailed design with simple, solid-colour accessories and avoiding clutter to let the pattern shine. This wallpaper adds character and a touch of heritage charm, making any space feel thoughtfully curated.
