I’m a big fan of the brass lantern pendant for its simple geometry and warm gold finish - it feels equally at home in a modern farmhouse kitchen or a pared-back Scandi hallway. The clear glass sides keep the design light, so it won’t dominate a room, and the brass frame adds just enough warmth without clashing.
For best results, hang it over a small dining table or kitchen island at about 75-90cm above the surface, and swap in an LED filament bulb for a soft glow. It works well alongside natural timber furniture and matte black accents, and you can repeat the same pendant in a row for extra impact over longer runs.
