Our Stylist Says
I love the navy velvet finish of the Bower sofa bed for its rich, versatile tone that can elevate both modern and retro interiors. Its large size makes it ideal for shared spaces, offering plenty of seating while transforming seamlessly into a guest bed. It works well in contemporary schemes with clean lines and bold accents, or in Scandinavian-inspired interiors with light wood and minimal clutter. Practical styling tips include pairing it with textured cushions or a patterned throw to add visual interest, and using lighter-coloured rugs or wall art to balance the depth of navy. For a cohesive look, complement it with warm wood legs and minimal metallic accents, making it a statement piece that remains functional and stylish.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
